Do I Need to Register?
You do not need to register to view ads or to reply to ads. You will need to register to use some of the features of this web site. Registration is free.

Searching Ads
You can use the Search feature to quickly locate an inboard for sale, based on several options from which you can choose. You may search all boats listed by simply clicking on the Search button at the bottom of the Search Criteria page, or you may modify your search by the following:
· Text (Usually the year and model of boat)
· Manufacturer
· City
· State
· Country
· Price Range, and/or
· Zip Code

Replying To an Ad
Inboardskiboats.com uses a blind e-mail reply system where you must reply to a specific ad using a contact form on the individual listings detail page. We do not release a registered users e-mail address for you to directly reply to an ad.
After you have filled out the form, click the "Submit" button to send your message to the original poster of the ad. Your e-mail address is provided to the user who posted the ad, but you will not be able to obtain the e-mail address of the individual who posted the ad unless they reply to your reply. It is then the responsibility of the individual who posted the ad to reply to your message.
We may track all replies sent to our users to help reduce Spam, abusive replies, and/or fraud. When you reply to an ad, the e-mail address you enter, your IP address, remote host name, date and time may be logged for our records. We do not release this information to any third parties but will possibly use it to investigate any report of Spam or abuse and may disclose this information to third parties who can assist in taking action against any third party who uses the system or replies to ads in a spamming, abusive or fraudulent manner.

How to Post an Ad:

To post a new ad to inboardskiboats.com, you must first be a registered user. User registration is easy and quick. Simply click on the Register Link provided on the Sellers Options menu on the left of the Home Page to enter the requested information.
While your e-mail address is required to post an ad, it is never revealed to anyone responding to your ad unless you reply to a reply that someone has sent to you. E-mail addresses are not visible in the html code that is displayed with your ad details.
Once you complete the registration form you will be prompted to login using the username and password you just created. After you login, click on the "Place Ad" link. You will then choose the Manufacturer of your boat. All popular inboard ski & wakeboard boat manufactures are listed in the drop down menu. After choosing the Manufacturer, the "Add Listing" menu will be displayed with the first field being “Title” (Year and Brand of Boat). For the most effective display, we recommend entering only the Year and Brand of your boat. With a limited number of characters that can be displayed, keeping it short is best. The remaining requested info is self explanatory. For your ad to be complete, please complete all fields with asterisks.
After completing the details of your ad, the next form at the bottom of the page will be the “Extra Options” menu. The three options are as follows:
· Make your listing “Featured”
· Make your listing “Bold” and/or
· Make your listing “Highlighted”

How Much Does It Cost?
Currently, there is no charge for placing ads on inboardskiboats.com.  Since there is no charge, we reserve the right to drop any ad at any time, even prior to the expected expiration date.  Once your ad approaches its expiration, you will be sent an email notifying you that the ad is about to expire.  At that time, you may review available packages prior to extending or renewing the ad listing.    

Favorites
The "My Favorites" feature of our system allows you to add specific ads you choose to a "Your Favorite” folder which may be retrieved at any time. This feature is useful if you wish to compare several ads posted within the system.

Your Privacy
All information on the registration form is required. You will also be required to provide a unique Username and Password which will identify you on our system. Inboardskiboats.com uses a Privacy Mail feature which protects your e-mail address.

Can I Include Photos in My Ad?
Yes, currently we offer up to 10 photos when you place an ad. The images should be in the .jpg or .gif format.
Ads with photos get improved results, so take advantage of posting quality photos with your ad.
If you have any problems uploading your photos you can reply to your confirmation e-mail and attach your images and someone will post them for you at no charge.

How to Upload a Photo
After submitting your inboard ski or wakeboard boat info you will be prompted to upload photos. You will be able to upload one image at a time.
You will be presented with two text boxes. The top one is to type in a short title for the “Image Title”. The next one has a button labeled "Browse". To locate an image, begin by clicking the "Browse" button. You will see a dialog box pop up which will allow you to browse your hard drive and locate the image you wish to upload. Once you have selected your image, you will see the path to the image in the text area. You will now be able to upload the image by clicking the "Add Image" button. There will be a message below the button that will let you know how many images you uploaded and how many you have left. "You have placed x of x images".
You may skip the step of uploading images at any time by clicking the button labeled "Skip This Step". You will be able to add or change images at any time after your ad is placed.
The only file types which may be uploaded are *.gif and *.jpg files. This is the standard image type for use on the Internet.

How Long Will My Ad Run?
Ads run for 180 days.  If your ad is about to expire you will be notified by e-mail that you may choose to renew.

Can I Make Changes To My Ad?
Yes you may. To edit an existing ad you have posted to the system, you must be logged into the site. Click the "Login" link on the left menu and login with your username and password.
When logged in, you will be presented with your "Member Page" which contains a list of options. Select the option to "Edit Ad". After selecting this option, a list of current ads you have posted will be shown. To view an ads detail, simply click on the "Info" link. This will show you all ad details and allow you to verify that this ad is the one you wish to edit. Click on "Modify" to make any changes to info or images. Once all modifications have been made, click the button at the bottom of the ad. Your changes will take place immediately.
If you wish to make any changes to your contact information, select the "Modify My Account" link from your "Member Page".

Can You Scan My Photos For Me?
If you do not have digitized photos of your inboard ski or wakeboard boat, we can scan them for you for free. Please send your photos to:

How Will Potential Buyers Contact Me?
Buyers will contact you through the information that you submit when you register. Inboardskiboats.com uses a Privacy Mail feature which protects your e-mail address. Instead of displaying your e-mail address in the ad, a "Reply to Ad" link is displayed. The person replying to the ad then sees a form and clicks on a submit button to send their reply to you.

What Do I Do When My Boat is Sold?
If you sell your inboard ski boat, you may go to our “Contact Us” link and let us know that you want your ad removed. You also may delete or modify your ad at any time by using your username and password.

Other Features

Sending an Ad to a Friend
To send a friend a copy of an ad, simply click the link "Email a Friend" and you will be presented with a page to complete your name and email address as well as your friend&undefined;s name and email address. Type a short message and an email from you will be sent directly to your friend about the ad you found.

Printer-Friendly Version
Clicking this link will present you with a printable flyer of the ad you are viewing.
